Infants need a schedule that is regular enough to be predictable and flexible enough to meet their individual needs by respecting their unique biological rhythms. In general, the younger the child, the more flexible and individualized the schedule must be. But even our youngest babies gain a sense of security when the schedule is somewhat regular.

Children develop communication, reasoning and problem-solving skills through play, interaction with other children, and exploration of their environment.
